Leñería × Trama: Encounters to Reflect on Culture
At Trama, in collaboration with Centro Leñería, we developed a series of panel discussions aimed at reflecting on the role of culture in addressing contemporary challenges. Amid growing uncertainty within the cultural sector and an increasing need to strengthen social connections, the initiative brought together artists, cultural managers, independent organizations, and institutional representatives to create spaces for dialogue and exchange. The program explored the intersections of art, activism, and new technologies; creative practices as a means of preserving memory in times of war; the challenges of sustainability and self-management in the cultural sector; and the potential of cultural diplomacy to foster cooperation and build meaningful connections.

Through these encounters, the series encouraged the exchange of experiences and the development of networks among diverse stakeholders within the cultural ecosystem. The program attracted interest from audiences connected to cultural organizations, educational institutions, businesses, independent professionals, and public and diplomatic institutions, reflecting the diversity of sectors engaged in these conversations. With the sponsorship of Chilecreativo and the support of various organizations, the initiative highlighted experiences of self-management, identified shared challenges, and explored new forms of collaboration, positioning dialogue as a valuable tool for collectively reflecting on the present and future of the cultural sector.
